The purpose of this series is to celebrate the light and life of BKS Iyengar, and the impact RIMYI has had on all of us.
This series bridges the physical distance between RIMYI and Australia, and reminds us all that Pune is not an abstract dot on a map somewhere — it's a treasured place and space of learning and transformation and life-altering encounters.
Legacy and Lineage features our Senior Teachers, direct students of Guruji and Geetaji, talking about their time spent at RIMYI, and the lessons imparted to them by the Iyengars. The series will also feature newer students and teachers who have more recent experience of RIMYI, under Abhijata's direction.
Online sessions are 90 minutes long, and run on Sunday afternoons fortnightly at 3:30pm Melb/Sydney time from 29 September through to 8 December.
This program is free for all current IYA Members. It is one of your Member Benefits. We can't wait to share this series with you!
